Live video interviews are interviews where you can meet with hiring managers in real-time using computers or mobile devices. Interviews can be one-on-one or group panel interviews, depending on the interviewer requirements.
When you are invited to complete a Live Video interview, you receive an email invitation that contains:
- Information about the interview
- Additional instructions
- A link that you can click to connect to your interview
The Interview Experience
The company your interviewing with may have set up the live video interview within HireVue or through Zoom, Webex etc. This will be provided in your interview invitation.
If the live interview is being held within the HireVue system, when you click the link in your email invitation you are brought to an interview foyer, where you can view additional resources or contact Support before you connect to your interview.
Once you connect to your interview, you will undergo a 'Ready to Join' check where you can test your video and speakers prior to joining your interview. Depending on how your interview was scheduled, you may be able to use icons in the interview room to perform additional actions such as viewing documents, chatting with interview participants, and more.
