If your interview has a deadline, this has been set up by the hiring company you applied to and is included in your assessment invitation email. If your interview does not have an exact due date, we recommend you complete your interview at your earliest convenience. Please keep in mind, that the sooner you complete your interview, the sooner you can be considered for the position.
Finding the Deadline
In your invitation email, you will either have a recommended time frame or an exact due date. If you have an exact due date for the interview, it will be listed with the date, time, and timezone the interview will need to be completed by.
Please note: The example below may differ from what you see in your invitation email.
You may also see something similar to the below message. This indicates that once you have entered into your assessment, you will have X amount of time to complete the assessment.
Expired Interviews
If your due date has passed and you have not completed your interview, then your interview has expired. HireVue is not able to extend the expiration date or issue a retake.
Interview Extensions
If you would like an extension on your interview due date, you will need to contact the company you applied to with this inquiry. HireVue only provides support for the interviewing platform, we do not have permission to make changes to the interview. The company you applied to can assist you with this issue.
